Elisabeth P. Montgomery is a documentary film artist and producer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her film career began in Chicago, Illinois, where she attended the Chicago Film Workshop.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia and raised in Charleston, West Virginia, Washington D.C., Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Evanston, Illinois. Graduated from Kent State University, BA in American Studies; DePaul University, MA, in Business and Human Services; Oxford University (Oxford, England), USA/Great Britain Student Exchange Program; Fielding Graduate University, Ph.D., Human Organizational Systems and Development. Dr. Montgomery serves as Shenzhen Nanshan District Education Bureau Senior Advisor on Internationalization. This high-level government position requires serving as the Deputy Vice Principal of the South China University of Science and Technology (SUSTECH) Education Group by serving Experimental Schools in grades 1-9. A lead experimenter in China's high school Gaokao testing reforms, in 2012, she founded Shenzhen Yucai High International Department (YCID) with Shenzhen City College. Montgomery trained thousands of English teachers and implemented critical thinking programs district-wide as a specialist in English Language Learning programs. Dr. Montgomery was the first to develop K-12 Career Education curricula K-12 in China. Montgomery integrated Green STEAM using United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
